Is Georgia Tech Christian Campus Fellowship (GTCCF) affirming of LGBT people?
No, not currently.*
GTCCF Staff and Interns may not participate in LGBTQIA+ romantic relationships.^
GTCCF Staff are prohibited from performing same-sex marriages.^
*Based on the 2021 Sexual Ethic Policy copied at the bottom of this page, and based on conversations with GTCCF Staff.
^According to our understanding of the GTCCF Employee Handbook which is only being made available in full to potential GTCCF Staff and Interns.
What does it mean to be affirming of LGBT people?
Policies and procedures place no restrictions on people who identify as LGBTQIA+; individuals are empowered to participate and lead regardless of their relationship status and the level of leadership they wish to pursue.
To have a publicly accessible statement of beliefs stating that LGBTQIA+ relationships are not sinful, and rather are sacred and beautifully in alignment with God’s design.

About This Site
This website was created by GTCCF alumni who care about the LGBTQIA+ community at Georgia Tech. Many of us are LGBTQIA+ ourselves.
We desire to raise awareness of the beliefs and practices of GTCCF so students may make informed decisions. We want to prevent future harm to queer students that invest time and energy into an organization that may not fully accept them.
Our hope is that students find and experience the unconditional love of Jesus in communities that affirm and celebrate their sexual identity and gender expression.
For further information on GTCCF's beliefs, read the "What do we believe?" section at www.gtccf.org/about.
Below is the current Sexual Ethic Policy that was adopted by the GTCCF Staff and Board in the summer of 2021:
CCF understands that many factors go into someone's identity. With that being said, CCF's number one goal is for our students to put their identity in Jesus Christ first and foremost above any other identities. In regards to any issue in life CCF looks to Scripture as a guide. According to our understanding of Scripture, God's ideal for a sexual ethic is celibacy outside of marriage, and God's ideal for a sexual ethic in marriage is a monogamous relationship between a man and a woman.
As an organization CCF also recognizes the need for an abundance of grace and love when navigating the separation between Gods ideal and the realities of our world.
CCF understands that there are Christian faith communities that believe differently, and CCF whole heartedly believes that salvation is available to all who believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God.
In following Jesus' example in the New Testament, it is CCF's goal to create a culture of love and acceptance for people without qualification or condition, while staying true to our ultimate mission of leading people towards Jesus.
